About the MOC
This is a MOC of the Antares 230+ rocket. The first and second stage as well as the payload fairings can be separated. The fairing holds space for a potential payload. My Cygnus MOC does not fit inside.
About the rocket
The Antares 230+ rocket is an orbital rocket produced by Northrop Grumman. The first stage is powered by a RD-181. The second stage is a Castor 30XL solid rocket motor. The rocket is used to launch the Cygnus spacecraft to the International Space Station.
