Vostok-K Vostok 1

About the MOC

This is a MOC of the Vostok-K rocket as it launched the Vostok 1 mission. The MOC has four boosters, a core stage and an upper stage, all of which can be separated form one another. There is no spacecraft included.

About the rocket

The Vostok-K rocket was a R-7 derived orbital launch vehicle. Its first launch was in 1960 and over its lifespan it launched a total of 13 times, six of them were crewed flights, including Vostok 1 in 1961.
