About the MOC

This is a MOC of the H-IIB rocket. The second stage and the boosters can be separated from the core stage. The two fairing halfes contain space for a payload.

About the rocket

The H-IIB rocket is a Japanese orbital rocket that has flown a total of nine times. The core and the second stage are hydrolox fueled. It has four solid fueled boosters. The first launch happened in 2009 and the last one in 2020. This rocket was only used the transport the Japanese HTV vehicle to the space station. It has now been replaced by the H3 rocket.
