Skylon

About the MOC

This is a MOC of the Skylon spaceplane/rocket. It has a payload bay where an upper stage and paylaod can be put in. The upper stage is an extra MOC available in the files section. The Skylon has landing gear which can be taken of. The MOC also includes a white stand as the ladning gear can't hold the MOC upright by itself.

About the rocket

Skylon is a British concept for a reusable SSTO spaceplane by Reaction Engines Limited. It uses the SABRE propulsion engine which uses liquid hydrogen and oxygen. It could carry up to 17 tons of payload into LEO.
