About the MOC

This is a MOC of the Energia rocket with the Polyus spacecraft. The boosters of the Energia rocket can beseparated from the core stage. The Polyus spacecraft can be separated from the Energia rocket.

About the rocket

The Energia rocket launched with Polyus in 1987 on it's maiden flight. Although the rocket launched successfully, the spacecraft failed and burned up in the atmosphere.
